Cloud Architect at Sogelink

You will work with highly skilled and motivated cloud engineers. You will cooperate with a product owner and team lead, as well as with technical leaders and architects of our development teams at Sogelink.

As a Cloud Architect, your goal is to ensure that our products and solutions have a stable, state-of-the-art platform, with the architecture capable of meeting the service levels that we provide to our customers. By listening to the needs and challenges of other development teams, you will shape the direction of the development of our cloud, in coordination with the product owner. You will be the technical leader for your teammates and you will also support technical leaders and architects of other teams in making the best architectural choices in relation to their deployments in the platform.

• Guru in Cloud Architecture with good understanding of software architecture and software development processes
• Demonstrated technical leadership, able to develop technical strategies, capable in reporting to technical management
• Trusted leader for teammembers in time sensitive situations, e.g. in case of GCP failures
• Proficient with Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine
• Familiair with technologies and tools like Keycloak, Ansible, Traefik, Operators and Prometheus
• Good understanding of security aspects of cloud platforms
• Experience in performance and stability optimizations of GKE and managed GCP services
• Fluent in English and ready to work 100% of the time in English
• Experience with some of these languages: Python, Go, Yaml, Bash
• Experience working with CI/CD (Gitlab & TeamCity)
